Sambonet Continental Stainless Flatware
Sambonet's Continental pattern features a classic Art-Deco ribbon design; in this case, the tri-level fan-shape handle is also repeated on the underside of each piece. The knife handle is straight, with the same tri-level design and is one of the heaviest that Sambonet makes. There is an extra flair at the end of the forks and spoons to give the pattern a decidedly French look. It is one of the most popular styles, and with its simple styling it will coordinate with any style of tableware, plain or complex, but probably works best with traditional dinnerware. Each piece is made of top quality 18/10 Stainless Steel, and is backstamped Sambonet, which adds a luxurious touch to each piece. Sambonet Continental is designed and crafted for use in the finest restaurants, but is perfect for your home, and is completely dishwasher safe.

What is .925 Sterling Silver?
The Short Answer:
Sterling silver consists of at least 92.5 percent silver and 7.5% percent of other metals like copper, nickel, or both. The reason for this is Pure Silver or Fine Silver, is very soft and very malleable making it easy to damage or bend. Other metal alloys like copper or nickel are added to the silver to make a more durable piece.
All items sold by Silver Superstore as “Sterling Silver” contain at least 92.5% percent Silver and are stamped with either “.925”, “Sterling Silver”, or both.
