What is .925 Sterling Silver?
The Short Answer:
Sterling silver consists of at least 92.5 percent silver and 7.5% percent of other metals like copper, nickel, or both. The reason for this is Pure Silver or Fine Silver, is very soft and very malleable making it easy to damage or bend. Other metal alloys like copper or nickel are added to the silver to make a more durable piece.
All items sold by Silver Superstore as “Sterling Silver” contain at least 92.5% percent Silver and are stamped with either “.925”, “Sterling Silver”, or both.

What does " w/stamp " mean?
As of April 2022, Fortessa is no longer stamping their logo in their flatware pieces. We do have some stock left of the stamped versions. If you are looking to match your older, stamped, pieces you will want to select the pieces denoted with “w/stamp”.

The Consul Dessert/Salad Fork by Couzon measures 7.06" in length and is the smaller fork in the place setting. Consul's design is based on an old Italian design that is popular in high-end flatware. Made in a shiny, high-polished finish. The Consul stainless flatware pattern by Couzon is dishwasher safe. You may also like Impero or Imperia by Ricci. If you are looking for extra pieces in this pattern such as iced teaspoons, steak knives or bouillon spoons, Savoy stainless flatware by Fortessa is a good choice. The Consul by Couzon pattern is also available with gold accent.
