Fortessa Caviar Stainless Flatware
Caviar stainless steel flatware by Fortessa is one of our favorite beaded silverware patterns. One outstanding feature is the beaded design itself which is on the front and back of each piece. Fortessa also added lines of banding where the handle meets the tines/bowls/blades of each piece to provide an additional design characteristic. The knives in Caviar have a serrated edge to them and are very nicely balanced.
Caviar gets its name from the small detailed beading which looks like caviar. This is a great pattern for everyday use and also will look beautiful with your formal dinnerware. Another wonderful feature to the Caviar line is that there are many additional pieces available which will compliment your place settings and will complete your table for entertaining. All pieces in Caviar are dishwasher safe.

What is .925 Sterling Silver?
The Short Answer:
Sterling silver consists of at least 92.5 percent silver and 7.5% percent of other metals like copper, nickel, or both. The reason for this is Pure Silver or Fine Silver, is very soft and very malleable making it easy to damage or bend. Other metal alloys like copper or nickel are added to the silver to make a more durable piece.
All items sold by Silver Superstore as “Sterling Silver” contain at least 92.5% percent Silver and are stamped with either “.925”, “Sterling Silver”, or both.

As of April 2022, Fortessa is no longer stamping their logo in their flatware pieces. We do have some stock left of the stamped versions. If you are looking to match your older, stamped, pieces you will want to select the pieces denoted with “w/stamp”.
