Liberty Tabletop Pinehurst Stainless Flatware
The Liberty Tabletop Pinehurst pattern, also known as Alder, is heavyweight, with a shiny, hammered finish. The knife is a "hollow handle" knife, which means that a superior blade is inserted into the handle, giving you a much better cutting performance than one simply stamped out of one piece of steel.
This pattern now features the hammering on the back of the pieces too. If you already have pieces in Pinehurst you will want to check if yours are hammered on the back or smooth and order accordingly.
The Pinehurst pattern is manufactured entirely in the USA (New York) with USA-made steel by Liberty Tabletop; the only exclusively American stainless flatware manufacturer.

What is .925 Sterling Silver?
The Short Answer:
Sterling silver consists of at least 92.5 percent silver and 7.5% percent of other metals like copper, nickel, or both. The reason for this is Pure Silver or Fine Silver, is very soft and very malleable making it easy to damage or bend. Other metal alloys like copper or nickel are added to the silver to make a more durable piece.
