What is .925 Sterling Silver?
The Short Answer:
Sterling silver consists of at least 92.5 percent silver and 7.5% percent of other metals like copper, nickel, or both. The reason for this is Pure Silver or Fine Silver, is very soft and very malleable making it easy to damage or bend. Other metal alloys like copper or nickel are added to the silver to make a more durable piece.
All items sold by Silver Superstore as “Sterling Silver” contain at least 92.5% percent Silver and are stamped with either “.925”, “Sterling Silver”, or both.

What does " w/stamp " mean?
As of April 2022, Fortessa is no longer stamping their logo in their flatware pieces. We do have some stock left of the stamped versions. If you are looking to match your older, stamped, pieces you will want to select the pieces denoted with “w/stamp”.

Roberto stainless steel flatware by Ginkgo is the newest addition to the Ginkgo silverware family (introduced April 2013). Roberto features light accenting in the forms of ridges running the length of each handle. Roberto also features round bowls for both the soup and teaspoons. This pattern is very well crafted and will blend easily with just about any style of table setting.
