Sambonet Contour Stainless Flatware
The Sambonet Contour stainless steel flatware pattern features a design that is commonly called "thread border with a teardrop shape". In this case, the thread border is also repeated on the underside of each piece. It is one of the most popular styles, and with its simple styling with coordinate with any style of tableware, plain or complex, but probably works best with traditional dinnerware. Each piece is made of top quality 18/10 Stainless Steel, and is hallmarked with the Sambonet logos, which add a luxurious touch to each piece. What is .925 Sterling Silver?
The Short Answer:
Sterling silver consists of at least 92.5 percent silver and 7.5% percent of other metals like copper, nickel, or both. The reason for this is Pure Silver or Fine Silver, is very soft and very malleable making it easy to damage or bend. Other metal alloys like copper or nickel are added to the silver to make a more durable piece.
