Sambonet Rome Stainless Flatware
Sambonet's Rome pattern features a design that's commonly called "thread border, teardrop shape"; in this case, the thread border is also repeated on the underside of each piece, and there is a slight ridge that runs the length of each handle on the forks and spoons. The handle is a modified teardrop, as there is an extra flair at the end to give the pattern a decidedly European look. Each piece is made of top quality 18/10 Stainless Steel, and is backstamped Sambonet, which adds a luxurious touch to each piece. Sambonet Rome is designed and crafted for use in the finest restaurants, but is perfect for your home, and is completely dishwasher safe.

What is .925 Sterling Silver?
The Short Answer:
Sterling silver consists of at least 92.5 percent silver and 7.5% percent of other metals like copper, nickel, or both. The reason for this is Pure Silver or Fine Silver, is very soft and very malleable making it easy to damage or bend. Other metal alloys like copper or nickel are added to the silver to make a more durable piece.
