Zaramella started a long line of ancestral roots in Padova, Northern Italy. Founded in 1948 by Bruno Zaramella who started producing sterling silver cutlery using classic models. He later expanded his scope of work to make exceptional pieces for the table and home accessories such as picture frames and baby gifts. Zaramella craftsmen use a mix of traditional technics with technology in perfect harmony to make quality one-of-a-kind pieces. Specialized techniques such as spinning, handmade polishing, galvanic, engraving, chiseling are passed down from master to apprentice to give life to all Zaramella pieces while guaranteeing a continuity of quality products.

What is .925 Sterling Silver?
The Short Answer:
Sterling silver consists of at least 92.5 percent silver and 7.5% percent of other metals like copper, nickel, or both. The reason for this is Pure Silver or Fine Silver, is very soft and very malleable making it easy to damage or bend. Other metal alloys like copper or nickel are added to the silver to make a more durable piece.
All items sold by Silver Superstore as “Sterling Silver” contain at least 92.5% percent Silver and are stamped with either “.925”, “Sterling Silver”, or both.
